Thank you for considering our divorce education program. Created in 2000, "Cooperative Parenting" has proven effective for thousands of parents who are divorced or raising their children in two homes. Parents frequently tell us that they found the class a real "game changer" as they found better ways to cope with the other parent. It is gratifying to hear that peace has replaced conflict for many San Diego families as a result of the program. Actual classroom experience can be far more beneficial than on-line classes because group dynamics enhance the value of the workshop. Sitting in a classroom with other parents and an expert group leader provides the best possible educational experience. 95% of our graduates report that they would recommend the class to others like themselves and often tell us they wish they had come to the class sooner.
Cooperative Parenting is a program of prevention and intervention and is likely to be a transformative experience for you and a great benefit to your child because of what you learn in the class. The Cooperative Parenting certificate is widely accepted -- particularly by San Diego Superior Court Judges and the course is recommended by many judges, Family Court Counselors, attorneys and therapists.
"Cooperative Parenting" (2000) is considered by many to be the most effective program of its kind in San Diego. "Cooperative Parenting" has helped parents in many circumstances:
If you have questions about the program, the answer is likely found in the "FAQ" section of this web-site. Parents do not attend the same workshop; only one parent attends a workshop. Guests (new partners, grandparents etc) are encouraged to attend with a parent. A guest can receive a graduation certificate by paying 50% of the tuition paid by the parent. If a parent has to miss a class, it can easily be made up at another time or location. Tuition can be paid (by check or cash) in three installments or paid using a master card or Visa.
To learn about our group leaders and staff, please review the "About Us" section of this web-site.
