Mary has been affiliated with Cooperative Parenting for many years and was the Coordinator for Kids' Turn, San Diego for many years before her work with "Cooperative Parenting". Mary is a calm and encouraging voice when parents contact the program. She manages all aspects of the program and assists Dr. Delisle and our group leaders with dedication.
Char Katz is a retired (credentialed) elementary school teacher (San Diego Unified School System) and has been a Group Leader for "Cooperative Parenting" since 2005. Char has also been a Parent Group Leader for Kids' Turn, San Diego for fifteen years. Her many years in the classroom with third graders makes her particularly sensitive to the needs of children as she works with parents. Char's sense of humor is exceeded only by her compassion. She makes her classroom experience so pleasurable for parents that they often report in their Exit Evaluations that they wish her class was longer. Char says, "I have been rewarded so much by the opportunity to help families achieve a calm and peaceful home environment so that their children can flourish. I believe that "Cooperative Parenting" is an essential adjunct to the Kids' Turn Program." Char is assigned to the classes in Chula Vista and La Mesa.
